SUGAR NINJAS 2…DONE!!!
Yep, it took much longer than I’d hoped it would, but both the SWEETand SPICY books comprising SUGAR NINJAS (VOLUME TWO) are finally ready for ordering at lulu.com (or just click on the “sweet shop button” right here on our site). Special thanks are due to this year’s assistant, Gally Articola, who stepped in to help me during the editing process (Zelda being otherwise occupied, but as supportive as ever).
This year’s books will make their premiere on August 6th at the SUGAR NINJAS art exhibit, on display at the HOWL GALLERY in Fort Myers, Florida. For logistical reasons, only a select number of girls will have art physically on display, but copies of the book will be on display, as well as a digital frame that will feature sample pages from all the artists who have contributed to all four books published so far.
I hope you’ll help us spread the word about the new books by letting all of your friends and family know..and maybe a newspaper/website/podcast or two.

sorry for the delay responding to your comment. i’m hoping to get the bios up soon, but it was quite a chore just getting the books done at all (arrgh). i plan to get cracking on uploading all the bios very soon…and the site itself will hopefully be redesigned soon, too!
I ordered my copy, but I haven’t gotten it yet. It’ll be interesting to see what other artists are featuring
I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t an ISBN number this time, though. I thought there was talk of having one for each book so they could be sold on Amazon and such? Or did I make that up?

actually, we DID include isbn numbers on both the sweet and spicy books of sugar ninjas volume two.
here they are right now:
sweet book volume two is 978-0-9828948-1-1
spicy book volume two is 978-0-9828948-0-4
Oh great! My bookstore-owning mother said she couldn’t find the numbers, and Lulu didn’t least them either. This is great news
well, your bookstore-owning mom probably had good reasons for not finding the numbers, as i’m pretty sure digital-press books don’t work the same way as regular publishers. and amazon won’t carry us at all, because of our landscape format (which i don’t understand, since there are, of course, plenty of landscape books from other publishers). heavy sigh indeed.
